Do all things come to those who wait?

What things would those be?  All good things? The things others leave behind?

  1. I always took this an an encouragement to be patient but things come even if you’re not such a good “wait-er” so who knows. I think my mother used to say this when we were looking forward to something; I always found it an annoying statement.

  2. Annoying, yes. B It seems to me that it’s particularly difficult to wait when you’re looking forward to something; impatience and excitement are more the order of the day then. And JUST waiting doesn’t really get one very far. ecause, of course, there’s Waiting for Godot… But what about “sitting with,” or “being in the moment” waiting? Is that different?
